Female Wood Elf Wizard
My earliest memories are past some lifetimes of man. I was born to slavery under a House Lord named Corviar Delmortus. He was a man of status and a mover in political rings. I’ve no memory of my father as those memories I try to remove just as those of the treatment of my fellow kind under the Lord’s governance. My mother is Ayira Ellifarius. She pays a continuing price that came the night she set me free. I know she lives on as she would send a pigeon to my mentor and long family friend. My mentor is Master Telkivar Galifanius. We lived within a day’s travel of known settlements of the Elven variety in the Great Forgotten Forest. He boarded me and trained me in many arts. He offered insight into a world to show me the weight the wind bears on the grass. Trained in the languages of kin, enemy, and history. He told me that my final days are upon me and that I would soon have to find my place in this world. He has given me a test so to say. He asked me to bring proof and an answer to this question: What kind of light shines from the sun as it breaks past the horizon in the evening? Being smart and knowing my master in his ways I know this isn’t a simple scientific errand but a reflection. It’s about knowing whether or not one can find peace through the deeds of a day and knowing their probable impact on the next. The problem I face is finding the proof. In my final parting I have been tasked with tracking down four ingredients before my return. I am to find: Fungal Stars (Mushrooms of Light), Bone Meal Lichen (Bone eating Moss), Fire Clover (Red 5 Leaf Clover), and Fay Milk (Sap of a magic tree). I’ve come to see a bit in my travels as of so far. I witnessed the 2nd War on Brie when my master was called upon though I was kept from the fight. I found my fear stems from that battle and from my days of slavery. My fear is lightning because with its strike comes the thunderclap that reminds me of the whip bearing down on mortals.
